Firm Biographies

Diana M Bailey

Diana M. Bailey received a Bachelor of Arts degree with Honors and Phi Beta Kappa from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Ms. Bailey obtained her Juris Doctorate from Lewis and Clark School of Law in Portland, OR.

Prior to founding her law firm, Diana M. Bailey worked for the Clark County (San Diego) District Attorney’s Office in the felony prosecution unit and worked for the San Diego District Attorney’s Office. In addition, Ms. Bailey practiced criminal defense and headed the immigration law practice for Bruce Bridgeman & Associates. Ms. Bailey started her own firm specializing in immigration law and criminal defense of immigration clients. Ms. Bailey specializes in all areas of immigration law including deportation/removal, employment and family based immigration, asylum, withholding of removal and convention against torture, waivers, appeals and nonimmigrant visas.

Ms. Bailey is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of California, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. She is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, Los Angeles County Bar Association, and Mexican American Bar Association.

Susan S. Han

Susan S. Han received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and received her Juris Doctor from Southwestern University School of Law.

Prior to joining the Law Offices of Diana M. Bailey, Ms. Han specialized in immigration law working for attorneys Robert Reeves and Bruce Bridgeman. Ms. Han specializes in all areas of immigration law including employment-based and family-based immigration, non-immigrant visas, citizenship, asylum, deportation/removal, waivers and appeals. Ms. Han has successfully represented hundreds of clients before the Immigration Courts and the U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services (formerly the INS).

Ms. Han is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of California, U.S. District Court for the Central District of California and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. She is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, and Los Angeles County Bar Association.

Esmeralda Alfaro

Esmeralda Alfaro received her Bachelors of Arts degree with an emphasize in Business from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). She obtained her Juris Doctor from University of California, Hastings College of the Law.

Ms. Alfaro began her legal career as an Immigration Attorney with the Law Offices of Diana M. Bailey. Ms. Alfaro specializes in immigration law. Ms. Alfaro has litigated many areas of immigration law such as cancellation of removal, immigration waivers, asylum, withholding of removal, Convention Against Torture, derived citizenship and appeals. She also assists clients with criminal matters.

Ms. Alfaro has been admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of California and the United States District Court for the Central District of California. She is currently a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, Los Angeles County Bar Association, Mexican-American Bar Association, and Young Lawyers Association.

Dolly Tsai

 

Dolly Tsai received her Bachelors of Arts degree in International Economics with an emphasize in China from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).  She obtained her Juris Doctor from Pepperdine University School of Law.

Ms. Tsai began her legal career as an immigration Attorney with the Law Offices of Diana M. Bailey.  Ms. Tsai specializes in immigration law and has experiences in deportation, immigrant/non-immigrant visas, family petitions, asylum, withholding of removal, and Convention Against Torture.  Ms. Tsai has successfully litigated many areas of immigration law such as cancellation of removal, immigration waivers, and adjustment of status.

Ms. Tsai is fluent in Mandarin, Chinese and has studied abroad in Beijing, China at the Chinese University of Political Science and Law.  Ms. Tsai has been admitted to practice before the Supreme Court and the United States District Court for the Central District of California.  She is currently a member of the American Bar Association and Young Lawyers Association.
